Independent Visual Novels

Yorokobi 喜悦
Studio

Joy earned through overcoming hardship. We are a small independent studio crafting sincere visual novels about memory, pain, tenderness, and the fragile hope that remains after difficult days.

Our First Story

Our First Visual Novel Concept

Yorokobi Studio is still at the beginning of its journey. Our first long-term visual novel is currently a narrative concept — a quiet story about illness, loneliness, second chances, and the difficult path toward human connection.

Early Concept

Untitled First Visual Novel Concept

A terminally ill transfer student dies alone and awakens one year before his death, carrying the memory of his final moments. What begins as a second chance becomes a quiet confrontation with loneliness, bitterness, and the fragile possibility of joy.

Our Philosophy
We believe stories can hold pain without losing tenderness.

Emotional narratives

Stories shaped by quiet conflict, inner growth, and the difficult beauty of continuing forward.

Human characters

Characters are not puzzles to solve, but people to understand with patience and respect.

Beauty after hardship

Joy matters more when it is not easy. We want our works to honor that fragile arrival.

Made sincerely

Small productions can still be careful, thoughtful, and emotionally honest.

Currently in Development

What we are building right now

The studio is in its earliest phase. We are shaping our tools, our voice, and our first prototypes before anything is ready to be played.

Foundation

Brand & identity

Craft

Ren'Py studies

Writing

A first story

Shaping the emotional core of our first long-term visual novel concept — slowly, so it can find its proper tone.

Follow the quiet road with us.

Yorokobi Studio is still small, but every page, scene, track, and sketch is part of a longer path. Read our development notes, explore the early projects, or reach out for collaboration.
