Yorokobi Studio is a small, independent studio devoted to emotional visual novels. The name comes from the Japanese word yorokobi — joy — though the studio is interested in a specific kind of joy: the quiet light that is earned only after loss, fear, confusion, or loneliness.
Our work favours mood, character, and the small emotional turns that make a scene linger. We build slowly and openly, sharing development notes as projects take shape. The studio is currently in its earliest phase, focused on prototypes and its first public release, with a longer emotional project planned for the future.
Joy earned through overcoming hardship.
Official logos, the paper-crane mark, color palette, and key art will be published here for download once they are finalised. In the meantime, please reach out by email for any press or partnership materials.
